The Development coaching course works with archers from beginners all the way to shooting tournaments.
Development Coach: For those working with archers progressing from beginner to a mid-level looking to participate in tournaments. Covers elements of equipment tuning, training plans and coaching soft skills. You need to have the Foundation Coach accreditation to apply for this course. This is a two-day course.
To gain this qualification you must be over 18 years old, be a current ANZ member and be a Foundation coach for over 12 months.
Dates: Saturday 3 May and Saturday 10 May
Venue: Shore Archery Club, 6 Argus Place, North Shore
Time: 8:30am – 4:30pm each day (approximate finish time)
Foundation Coach: This is an instructor level accreditation appropriate for school camp supervision, Have-a-go day events and club beginner courses. Covers the basics of range safety and entry level coaching skills.
To gain this qualification you must be over 18 years old. You do not need to be an Archery NZ member for this qualification.
