Results are in for June 2022! This one was a slight edit from last year’s castle. Everyone LOVED last year’s castle but the feedback was the castle was too small and so was the King – making it too hard for most of the younger kids and the barebow archers.
So this year we edited it slightly. We made that pesky King a bit bigger, and added a dragon! Lots of fun was had by all the kids and with the King being worth 100 points and the dragon 50, it made for some epic scores out of a 36 arrow round!
Special congratulations to Thornton Wallberg of Auckland Archery Club who shot 1552 (the highest score on the day) and Jaeda Ala’alatoa-Dale and Tessa Bolland, also of Auckland, who both shot 1528: the second highest-score of the day!
